Bio
The day I walked into my first Creative Writing class, four years ago, I fell in love. I knew from that class what my newest hobby would be. Writing.
I started a journal at an early age. The first story I wrote was on a scrap piece of paper in a secluded corner of our hayloft with a mama cat and her six babies. I was eight. Years later, (I won't say how many) I had a vivid dream. Tumbling out of bed and through sleep filled eyes, I scribbled it down. After playing with it for a couple of years, a close friend read it and encouraged me to finish. Thus was born, When the Past Came Back. It is soon to be published by The Wild Rose Press and now has a baby, sequel.
As most writers, I write the type of stories I love to read and romantic/suspense, mysteries and time-travel are my favorites. I do have a secret passion for humor and enjoy the laugh out loud stories that can make me roll in the floor.
I live in the green, rolling hills of East Texas with my wonderful husband, three very spoiled Maltese and one fourteen year old Golden Retriever. We have four grown children and three perfect grandchildren. Had I known the grandkids were going to be so great, I would have skipped the kids and had grandkids first. I enjoy writing, dancing, gardening, crafts and helping my handy dandy husband build what ever he has started at the moment.
